Daal Bati Churma

its a traditional rajasthani food, lets learn how to make it..........
to make daal ingredients are:
1/4 cup urad daal
1/4 cup hari chilka daal
1/4 cup chana daal
1/2 tomato
1/4 spoon haldi powder
salt according to taste
1/4 spoon jeera or cumin seeds
1/2 spoon mirchi powder
1/4 spoon hing or asofoteda

To make bati ingredients are:
2 cups flour
1/4 spoon ajwain
1 spoon salt or according to taste
3 tablespoon oil

to make churma ingredients are:
2 cups flour
4 tablespoon ghee
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup almonds (cut lengthwise)
1/4 cup cashewnuts(cut)
2 cups sugar powder
4-5 pieces of cardmom powder

Here are the steps how to make daal:
1. Mix all the daals together, soak them for half an hour.
2. Put them in pressure cooker,put half tomato in it & allthe spices & boil it.
3. Take a frying pan for tadka , put 2 tsp ghee in it , when it becomes hot put 2 dried red chillies,hing,cumin seeds & grated ginger& at last mirchi powder, now tadka is ready.
4. Pour the tadka in your daal& garnish it with corriander leaves.

Steps to make bati:
1. Take the flour, put salt, ajwain in it & mix the flour well.
2. Take the melted ghee& mix it in the flour very well & bind the flour with the help of water( by adding ghee in it , the dough will become soft)
3. now cover the dough for 15 min, then make small balls .
4.Now if u have oven set the temperature to 350-400 centigrade.
5. when the bati becomes red from one side ,turn them to another side& let it be red, u have to check batis again & again, so that it will not burn.
6. Now your bati are ready, press them immediately with a cloth, &melt some ghee in a pan & put those batis in it.( by pressing them, when we put them in ghee, the ghee goes in every part of it)
7. Now the batis are ready to serve.
8. we can also make masala batis of that dough , by filling them with aloo masala & bake them just like plain batis, masala batis turned out really yummy.

Steps to make churma:
1. Take the flour, put ghee in it & mix it really well, & make a dough of it.
2. Now with that dough, make thick rotis of it.
3. Take the hot rotis & crush them with hands first & when it becomes cold & grate them in a mixer , so that it will be very fine.
4. Now again sieve that roti mix again, to be really very fine.
5. Take a thick pan, pour the mixture, just with the help of spatula mix it for 2 min, let it cool
6. Ready all the dry fruits, mix them in churma, mix the powdered sugar in it.
7. At last melt some ghee , pour the ghee in churma & mix it.
8. Now your churma is ready to it.

At last i can say that, when you make this dish everyone likes it...........
